July 18 at 4:00pm: Outriding the devil
An inspiring documentary that traces the roots of rodeo and Western heritage through the remarkable story of world champion barrel racer, breast cancer survivor, and Texas Rodeo Hall of Famer Angela Ganter. Featuring historical dramatizations, Native American horsemanship, and the story of Angela and her daughter Jackie, the film celebrates resilience, determination, and the enduring spirit of the American West.
Dramatizations filmed at Mescal Movie Studios in Benson, AZ add powerful historical context to a story of survival and the strength of the human spirit. Featuring actors Mo Brings Plenty (Yellowstone), Eddie Spears (Into the West), and narrated by Forrie J. Smith (Yellowstone). Watch trailer below:
July 15 at 1:00pm: Jacob's Lane
Arizona - 1887. Prospector Jacob Bonner uncovered the largest gold nugget ever found—only to be ambushed and left mortally wounded. With his dying breath, he buried the treasure, taking its location to the grave. A decade in the making, this epic journey was dreamed up by legendary New Zealand equestrian Chloe Phillips-Harris and Mongolian visionaries Tsetsgee Damdin and Unenburen Uyndenbat. Traversing the country 1,200 kilometers from the rugged Gobi Desert to the soaring peaks of Khovsgul by camel, yak, horse, and reindeer, the expedition immerses viewers in ancient traditions, intimate human stories, and landscapes of staggering beauty.
