Equine Emergency Evacuation of Yavapai County (“EEE”) is a tax-exempt, all-volunteer organization that assists equine owners in the event of wildfire, flood, and other emergency situations. EEE is the only County 911 resource that performs this function.
EEE is a Community Organization Active in Disasters (COAD) which is a FEMA designation. EEE coordinates with County Emergency Management and obtains prior permissions from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Incident Command to transport large animals out of evacuated areas. EEE transports animals both pre-and post-incident in addition to official evacuations declared by Incident Command.

LASER (Large Animal Shelters & Emergency Readiness) is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization of community volunteers working in partnership with Yavapai County Emergency Management in Prescott, AZ.
LASER’s mission is to provide safe shelter for barn animals during evacuations in Yavapai County and to provide information for emergency preparedness.

United Animal Friends (UAF) is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit group founded in 2003. UAF has found loving homes for more than 6,000 cats and dogs, helped spay or neuter more than 20,000, distributed more than 400,000 pounds of food to clients who otherwise couldn’t afford to feed their pets, and paid for emergency veterinary services for over 1,000 community pets.
United Animal Friends’ mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. In addition to rescuing, spaying and neutering, fostering, and finding homes for dogs and cats, UAF provides many services for residents of Yavapai County and their pets. Their Spay/Neuter Certificate Program, Community Pet Food Bank and Emergency Medical Program help hundreds of people and pets each year.
